How can I add group of people to a group

If i have list of users in excell spread sheet, what is
the best way to add them to a group.

Also, How can i extract list of members per group into an
excell spread sheet.

AJ,

Since you mentioned an Excel spreadsheet take a look at csvde. I have not
used csvde with any frequency so I would have to play with it for a minute
if you needed detailed instructions. I do, however, make a lot of use of
ldifde.

Just remember that when adding users to a group you have to remember that
you are adding the users to the group. While that may sound stupid and very
obvious it is important to think of it in those terms. The reason that I
tell you this is that there are two attributes that people seem to want to
confuse: the 'member:' attribute ( from the Group account ) and the
'memberOf:' attribute ( from the User account ).

The 'member:' attribute is the Group account attribute that you are
modifying. This is the correct attribute. You would need to add each user
account to the Group account's 'member:' attribute. However, many people
seem to want to user the User attribute 'memberOf:' and simply add the Group
account to the User's 'memberOf:' attribute. This would not work!
