With FP98 & FP2000. My help file says to start the form wizard by
[file][new][page...]. All I get is a new page, not a wizard. How can I
start the wizard?

With FP closed, search for cmdUI.Prf and delete, FP will rebuild this with
all the menu defaults, you will loose any add-ins that you have installed.

If you click new page, and there is no default document in the web, then the
new page will be named as the default document. If web has a default

Stan,

By default FP will use default.htm unless your are working on a web server
and index.html has been set as the first default document in the default
document list for the server/web site.

Stan Hilliard

Thanks for trying to help me with this problem.

I found my problem. I was trying to start the wizard from FrontPage
Explorer instead of FrontPage Editor. DUH.

That was not intuitive to me because the last wizard that I used
started from FrontPage Explorer. The instructions in [help] did not
address that either.
