I'm using voice recorder (digital dictafone) for recording my teacher. how
can convert the voice record to text in powerpoint? i'm using a digital
dictafone. so when i flip to the next slide the text automatically appears in
the note box below each slide?

hope that anyone could help me.

Marri,

Powerpoint cannot convert a voice to a text file.

You will need to search google to see if such a thing exists.

It's probably quicker (it's boring as watching paint dry) to type the text in by hand.

Try the voice-to-text program IVOS, a free trial may be downloaded from:

Hope this helps,

Thanks Tom.
I didn't know such a thing existed. (I've heard of speech recognition, and training them to learn your voice....but not
voice to speech after the event)

Hi Taj,

This program should work OK as it has a dictation function for
installing text from speech. But, of course, you still have to go through
the rigmarole of "training" the program to correctly recognize one's voice.
A step a lot of people do not go through before judging a program as bad, or
even worthless.

Cheers,

Tom
