How Are Contacts Saved?

Dear users:
I am trying to import all of Contacts in Outlook to my Palm Pilot and it
is not synchronizing.So my result is to copy my entire Contacts file(s) and
the new PC.I know that in Outlook Express e-mail is saved as a *.pst file
and the address book is saved as a *.pab file; however *.pab seems to be
non-existing in Outlook. Even though I can not find *.pab I still have all
of my contacts. Would someone please tell me how it is saved and where is
the default folded for contacts in Outlook.

You have mentioned both Outlook and Outlook Express. Which do you mean? OE
does not use PST files. Outlook does. Outlook has not used a PAB file for
over 5 years.
The PST file is where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
