Hi, I'm using Ms Office Outlook 2000 and I wanted to use on the recall
features. I know where to get it but the result of this is always fail
to recall. I wonder in what situation the recall features will work?

In need of your help.

Thanks.

In rare situations to be frank. It works when the other user is using
Outlook, is logged into their system, hasn't already read the message or
moved it to some other folder, if you've sent the message as RTF format
and it's been received as RTF format and if all of the moons of Jupiter
are in the proper phase.
Basically it sometimes works between coworkers on the same Exchange server,
but rarely works in situations outside of that. At least in my experience.

Mostly what it does is add a message to the other user's mailbox that
says "Edmund would like to recall his message: Try a breath mint you loser!"
which simply alerts them to the fact that you've sent something you regret
and encourages them to find it and open it all the more promptly.
Your mileage may vary, of course.
