Hover buttons do not work on the internet

They work for anyone who had JVM (Java Virtual Machine) installed on their machine - you can download it from Sun's website. MS doesn't distribute it with OSs anylonger. So your users would have to download JVM if they wanted to see your Hover buttons, for this reason many people have stopped using Hover buttons.
 
the user needs Java on their machine (no longer included in Windows XP).
they come up as red "x's" for me (XP Pro, IE 6.0 SP2).
