Hover button image

I have and "image 1" and an "image 2" for my hover button (image 2 shows up when the mouse is over it) and then you can click to get to a new link. In frontpage, the hover button doesn't work well to insert this image in cuz it's not exactly square so the button has a white block around it (since my background is colored it's noticable). Any html or other ways to use this image for my button? Thanks!
 
make sure both buttons are the same size, shape, colour in your graphics program
before you save them.

Hover buttons are Java, not Java scripts so some IE browsers cannot 'see' ..
it is best now NOT to use them at all.
