Hotmail

Hi, I'm having a problem accessing hotmail using Internet explorer. I know
it isn't the hotmail server because i can still read messages via outlook and
i can still see how many messages i have using MSN messenger. I can get to

http://by19fd.bay19.hotmail.msn.com...80752e503727805e97fbb3734&_lang=EN&country=CA

but all that loads is a blank page. I don't get any error messages or
anything else, it just doesn't work. It worked before but now it doesn't.
Can anyone help me?

If you can still access hotmail mail through Outllook, why the need for the web
interface?

yes, actually I have tried the simple approach of going through
www.hotmail.com, unfortunatley when i login it directs me to the url i listed
before. And as for your previous question, It's so other people who don't
know how to use outlook can access hotmail when I'm not around.
I realize it's simple to use, but not everyone can use it, or wants to use
it and i don't feel like explaining how to use it for those who are "computer
illiterate"

With IE shut down, carefully delete all cookies related to Hotmail, MSN,
etc. Then, go to hotmail using the basic www.hotmail.com link, and following
the necessary steps to get as far as the login screen. When you first arrive
there, use that as your new link. What I'm suggesting is intuitive, and
based on the fact that the link seems to get more and more convoluted as MSN
makes various changes on their end. I can't explain my suggestion, but
trying it is harmless.

All lurkers in this thread please keep in mind that you are not using the
same server at www.hotmail.com as when you're checking your Hotmail account
in OE or OL. Just because the latter works doesn't mean the former isn't
having problems (It is and has been for several days now.)
