Hotmail email addresses are the only ones causing errors in outloo

it amazing that the only email addresses that cause me errors in outlook 2002
are hotmail email addresses....
Makes me wonder that after all the years your own products have existed,
they still manage to not work together....
Pls advise why I should not switch or how to resolve..
Problems occur on xp and windows vista machines.
 
Have you configured the Hotmail account via POP3?

Since September 1, WebDAV access to Live Hotmail/MSN accounts has been
disabled.
For Outlook 2003 and 2007, you can use the use the Outlook Connector
instead.
For Outlook 2002 and previous, you'll have to configure it with POP3
instead.
If you are using Outlook Express, use Windows Live Mail instead (successor
of Outlook Express).
