When would I get my 2 Mb hotmail account uplifted to 100 MB as many of
you have been claiming on this newsgroup?. OK I have FREE ANTI VIRUS
facility but I want larger inbox like one gets in Yahoo.

How does one register for gmail account? I didn't see anything on gmail
website about this

Thanks.

According to the email I have from hotmail, its 250mb, and you'll get it
when they get around to it "real soon now" I guess.

Why not sign up with Yahoo then?

One doesn't sign up for gmail. One waits to be invited.

According to Microsoft, the 250 MB account will start in the fall (not sure exactly when). You can't sign up for a GMail account, you have to leave your name and an email address with them (fill out the online form) and they will contact you regarding an email account with them. But I've ready recently that they're no longer contacting people at this point. You may want to check out the GMail web site... there should be more information about it there.
