I am running Windows XP. I looked at all my installed
programs. I saw 33 separate items called Windows Hotfix
followed by different numbers. What do I need these for?
It says I use them rarely. Can I uninstall all of them?
 
Those are the "patches" or updates that Microsoft issues
to fix certain problems with XP. Many are for "critical"
security updates. I'd leave them alone.

These are security fixes and other updates from Microsoft that
you've installed. Uninstalling them would put back all the
security exposures that they corrected. Do not uninstall them.
