hotfix problem

I'm not even sure what hotfixes are but I seem to have a lot of them o
my computer and I don't know how to get rid of them. I have trie
removing them all from the add/remove programmes section but they com
back. There are about twenty of them right now and they say "Window
XP Hotfix (SP1) Q8... each with different numbers. The picture on m
screen quivers a lot and I think it is because of these things...
keep getting pop-ups telling me that my virtual memory is low and tha
it is being expanded and that used to stop the picture from shaking bu
it doesn't now. Are these problems related and are there any ideas a
to how to fix it? thanks

The hotfixes are the updates you have installed from windows Update and are
necessary if you value safe computing.
However the uninstall files can be safely deleted:

The hotfixes are most likely not the cause of your problems.
Go to the website of your video card/computer manufacturer and get the
latest Windows XP video drivers.

Also follow the yellow section on this link to check for viruses and
spyware:
