hot swapping with win2000pro

I need to be able to hot swap a drive with win2000 is
in2000 that won't cause more problems than it there anyway
to do this with wsolves? If not, is there a hardware
answer? I have heard that maybe a Promiss ata/raid card
can do this? If so, is this the way to go? And what model
do I need?

You need specialized hardware to do this. I don't know of any IDE that
can do it. On the SCSI side SCA type connectors are used to support hot
swapping with power and SCSI interface on one connector. The SCSI card
also generally includes a driver to support this.
