Does anyone know if it is possible to create a custom hot key (F key)? For
ex.: making an K key a shortcut to a specific search page.

Create a Desktop Shortcut to the place you want to go.
Right-Click and do Properties on the Shortcut you created.
Click in the SHORTCUT box and press the ke you want to use.

It comes out as ALT + <KEY>

OR you can use this registry tweak to change the Search bar for Internet
Explorer:

HKEY_CU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Search Bar
Change value to something like: http://www.google.co.uk/palm
