I constantly have to clean out XP Hotfix files from my
Add/Remove program. Right now Ihave about 20 issues of
this Hotfix. Each time I remove it My PC has to restart.
If I don't remove they begin to take up alot of space.

How do I pervent this or remove it quickly?

Thanks.. Bill

You dont remove hotfixes. They are the updates and patches that you
installed by going to windows update. If you remove/uninstall them from
add/remove then they are gone and will have to be downloaded and installed
again. if the fixes are working fine you can go into explorer and under
c:\windows you will see the uninstall folders for the hotfixes(these are
hidden folders so you have to have hidden folders set to show). You can
delete these folders, then go into add/remove and remove the hotfix entry by
choosing the hotfix and slecting remove. XP will see that the uninstall
folder has been deleted and ask you if you want to remove the entry, say
yes.
Uninstalling hotfixes and patches is no way to try to gain or save harddrive
space. If you need space that bad, then its time to upgrade to a larger
drive.
