HOST file - I think...

I had a hijacked HOST file a week ago. After surfing
around, I found info that told me to find my HOST file in
Windows and delete all the info. Not a good fix, I
think. :( Now my entire system is very glitchy, freezes
and errors out. Have run Norton & Spybot today with clean
results. How do I restore HOST defaults? I can't even
find the folder anymore. Am running Explorer 6.0 with
update #1, Windows ME.
I'm hopeful for a simple fix as I am not confident with
computers and am terrified of making things worse...

Thanks for your help.

Rani,
The HOSTS file shouldn't really generate errors or cause freezes.
You can download a fresh copy (see below)
