horizontal & vertical on same report??

I am trying to create a report that shows dates and times across and team
going down.

I tried creating a subreport, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help
would be great! Thanks.

For example, I want report to look like:

8/1/09 8/7/09 8/14/09
Team 1 10 14 15
Team 2 9 8 10
Team 3 11 12 9

My query shows:
Team 1 10 8/1/09
Team 2 9 8/1/09
Team 3 11 8/1/09
Team 1 14 8/7/09
Team 2 8 8/7/09
Team 3 12 8/7/09
Team 1 15 8/14/09
Team 2 10 8/14/09
Team 3 9 8/14/09

column headings which should be easy to swith to any date interval.
