Horizontal pages

I would like to create a page that scrolls back and forth, from left to right
similar to something like http://vault49.com/#start is there an easy way to
do this? should i just create a table that is 3000 pixels wide or something ?
but how do i split it up into sections that i want ?

That is how you do it or include images that exceed the size of the table width.

Note, that type of design is considered taboo in the web world.

Hey MD thanks for confirming my suspicions. I figured that it was the only
way. Yes I realize that this is typically taboo however i have seen a few ste
that utilize this feature which came out pretty cool.

Agree, there is absolutely NO reason to have a picture that huge!
Methinks they don't know how to shrink it.

I don't know. I think it's an intentional design conjured up by some artsy
type.

I'd seen one horizontal layout that looked really nice, it worked like reading a comic book. It was paginated with next buttons on the bottom right of each "page". I thought it was a nice change of pace.

I wish I still had the url for it.
