hopefully a simple solution for Macro quesion

II know the very basics for creating a macro. My situation is this: I have
been given a model that my predecessor built that contains macros. Where I am
confused and have a question is that he has one workbook that contains all
the inputs, and at the top of the work book, he has a "click here to generate
report." When you click on it, an entirely new workbook opens up with all
the outputs. How did this happen or should I just buy a book to learn how to
do it?

Confused,

Hi,

There are many books on the market, you might consider Reed Jacoson's step
by step book and John Walkenback's Power Programming.
