I set my homepage to the webpage of my choice; however
within minutes or as soon as I close and re-open explorer,
my homepage automatically resets itself to about:blank.
What can I do to have explorer remember my homepage?

How are you setting your browser to the webpage of choice? Normally you
first go to the webpage you want as default, then Tools, Options, Use
Current.
