homepage hijacking

ive heard it is possible to edit the registry so that the
homepage can not changed by any programs etc.

anyone know how to do this or where i can find out how to
do it
 
There is a much safer way of doing this than messing with the registry, by downloading a free program called WinPatrol you can find it at http://www.winpatrol.com it will protect your browser from Hyjacks
