Homepage dafualting to overwritten URL

I am having problems defaulting my hoem pade in IE 6.0.
Every time I reboot the homepage gets reset to the same
homepage which I had overwritten. I have done visus scans
etc but no avail. There must ne a link somewhere.

Please help.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
