my homepage was somehow changed from the original one to
something called searchpage.html. I can't get the
original one back because the "use current page" button
is not active. When I try to go to a web address, it goes
through this search page automatically. help!

Hi

Try all of the following programs to see if there is any spyware on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try these:
Hijack This: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3155
AdAware: www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
Spybot S & D: www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

After downloading update them before running them.

NG Error
My reply is in this thread 20min before yours.
I get that sometimes too and I'm not sure why. I won't see a reply but then
I'll see a different reply that has other posts within.
It's wierd and I don't know why it happens.

Well Phil didn't seem to hae a problem with it and he knew I was kidding.
So since he was the one I was actually replying to I guess that's all that
matters.

Bad joke - grow up.

It would save a great deal of space and time in this group if people
like you would stop kidding. And your post read like a complaint that
he was wasting time by posting when you already had - something that is
very likely to happen when people are scattered around the world, and
download headers in 'chunks'

Actually Alex we both learned something from it.
Sometimes posts don't show up on other readers for some reason.
Phil doesn't even see my post and quite often when I expand a thread I don't
see all the posts either.
Then somebody will reply to a post that I didn't even see and when I open
that reply I will see it along with the post they replied to that I couldn't
see to begin with. Do you know why that happens?

As far as kidding goes (and it didn't seem to read like a complaint to Phil)
I guess some people need to lighten up a bit.
