home page

Please help if you can
I have IE6 and cannot get my chosen home page up, usually
a search engine comes up as my home page, even though I
change it it keeps coming back.
also I have a search menu bar which has just appreared
and I don't know how to get rid of this.

I had a similar problem & it was "spyware". I fixed it
with a program called Spybot, which is brilliant & it's
free (they ask for a donation). You can download it from
www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html.

It's a simple install & easy to use.
