home page hijacked

Hi can someone help me I have xp home edition and I keep getting my homepage
hijacked.
Ihave adaware and spy bot but I still get the same page hijacking me it is
this page it says this is the address res://mshp.dll/index.html#37049

can anyone help me rid this stupid page i can change it to google but
within 5 mins its hijacked it again

i need help please

I also like "The Cleaner" and "SpywareBlaster" and "SpywareGuard".

The first is a PAY product, but useable for 30 days - it has found and
eliminated problems in the past the others did not. The latter two are
prevention mechanisms. I like SpywareGuard for those with enough processor
to have something running like antivirus software - and it prevents browser
hijacking quite well.

Have you tried looking for this in your registry? If you find it in registry delete it. Be careful not to delete anything else.
 
I'm sure all the programs people have suggested are very good products. . . . but you said you already have spybot search & destroy. Did you enable the option within it to block browser hijacks? It's on the same page as the "immunize" function. I would like to know if that was insufficient to the task or if it was an option you didn't know about.
 
Download and Run the Ad-Aware program. It can be found at the lavasoft
website.
