home page adress

Hi,

When I open up "tools"/"intenet options"/"general", and
wishes to change home page adress, there is a number of
adresses suggested that I wish to delete! They also turn
up in other places. I could not take them away by the
normal delete history nor programs/reset setting. Could
anyone please help me?

Mats,
These are coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart. Note: might not work with WinXP- might be due to user error (?)

Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
