home networking issue

Jimmy

I recently installed a home network using windows xp
professional. I have one computer on win98. the first
computer to set up is my "server".
I also have a workgroup called "home" which I don't want
anymore...it was the wrong one. I just want to keep my
new one called "mshome". how do I get rid of one of the
workgroups?
also when at one computer with XP I go to MY network
Places and all of the folders in the bottom portion are a
simple windows icon with the 'unspecified' above them. I
can't do anything with them either. On the other
computers it shows these as what I think is a shared item
icon. How can I change this?
any help is appreciated
thanks

On each computer change the workgroup name to mshome.
