Home Folder

2K server with the Home Folder selected for the user under the Profile tab in
AD. The ME pc will not create the drive to the home folder. The only way I
can get it to work is if I use the NET USE command in the login script. Any
help is appreciated.

In a command prompt on the ME box, try

net use h: /home

and see if that works. If not, try

net use h: \\server\homedirshare

Remember, NT and Win9x cannot map to anything but a share- they can't map to
a subfolder of a share.

If you have the option, I *strongly* suggest you get all 9x computers off
your network. XP Pro SP2 would be best, but even just W2k Pro would be good.
Always a good idea to keep all client OSes exactly the same (esp. if you
decide to use roaming profiles, which I always do)

I can map to the drive using the "net use" command. The problem is when I
configure the user profile to connect a drive to the users home folder.

Don't do that anyway - you should always use login scripts. No static drive
mappings.
