Holidays and 'Out-of-office'

Hi, is this a bug or a feature:
National holidays are copied to calendar and those can be
seen in normal views. Why do those days not appear when
planning a new appointment? There should be an option to
mark holiday as 'Out-of-office' by default, is that kind
of feature coming into next releases?
