cannot view internet explorer 6.0 history by any date
other than today.

In addition to what Frank has said, if you are not using McAfee AV, but are using a AD Pop-Up blocker. There might be a setting there that needs to be changed.

So, if you are using the following POP-UP blocking program, make sure you uncheck "Silent Mode" in the browser settings section.

If you are using McAfee anti-virus, turn off the ActiveX part of Internet
Filter.
