History won't clear

When I go to Internet options, and clear the history,
there are certain sites that do not clear. ie: when I type
in the first letter, the site shows up.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Try deleting your History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:

Any thing you have in the favorites will show up when
you do this. don't know if you can delete them unless you
delete the favorite
