I'm currently meeting an issue where I've to unhide WinRE partitions on
multiple PCs before re-hiding them again. Am wondering if anyone has come
across any script that can get WinRE to unhide?

What is a WinRE partition?

WinRE stands for Windows Recovery Environment in Windows Vista.

How to install Windows RE on the hard disk:http://blogs.msdn.com/winre/archive/2007/01/12/how-to-install-winre-o...

What I'm looking for is how to unhide the WinRE partitions, cuz I
accidentally keyed in the wrong parameters for the script to hide the
partition, resulting in the wrong volume being hidden.

You should re-post this in a VISTA newsgroup. This is one newsgroup
that is for Windows XP mainly.

Might be a good idea to ask your question in a Vista newsgroup.

Most partition managers (e.g. Acronis DiskDirector) have tools
to hide/unhide partitions, as has ptedit.exe if you're prepared to
work in a Win98 boot environment:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/tools/pq/utilities/

If you are using Windows Mail open Newsgroups and type Vista and you will
see a very long list. You can also open the Help and Support Center in
Vista and click on Ask Someone and then Communities.
