HijackThis

I went to http://www.majorgeeks.com and download HijackThis. Unfortunately,
I did not save the log file. I accidently deleted some files. Now, my Pc
can't connect to the internet. It kept saying, " the page can not be
displayed" I tried installed IE6 and used WinsockFix. It still does not help.
Does anyone have an idea what is causing it?

Frankly, your irresponsible use of HijackThis is causing your issues without having
consulted an expert - *first*!!

By default - assuming that you have chosen the default settings, you have recovery.
Open HijackThis > click on the "Config" - "Button" > proceed to the "backups" >
"button" > check all > select restore > follow the prompts.

Do you think it could be the files you 'accidentaly' deleted? How did you do
that- usually files have to be selected, then delete selected, then delete
confirmed.
And the log file may have given a hint which files you have 'accidentaly'
deleted.
Doesn't the program back up the files you have deleted? Most do so by
default.
Have you tried recovering the files from the bin? Have you tried going back
to a restore point prior to your 'accidental' deletion?
