I was hijacked about one year ago. I have tried everything including several
registry cleaners and several different hijacker removal programs and as
soon as the homepage address is changed, it immediately reverts back to the
hijacker. The address in the address bar when I open IE 6 is this:

http://www.mymsn.com/index_lander.php?Domain=mymsn.com

When I view the source code, this is what I find:

http://www.w3.org/tr/html4/loose.dtd

If anyone can help, please let me know.

Thanks,
Paul

I did as you suggested including the Restore IE settings and my browser is
still hijacked. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks again,
Paul

Boot into Safe Mode and run the tool there.

I cannot help with your problem - but would love to know what register
cleaners you used. I have and IE problem and I think
I need to clean my registers -- need a (some) tools.

Thanks,

Dick

The best, safest (and it's freeware) registry cleaner I've seen yet is
RegSeeker:
http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm
Of course, with any tool that can edit the registry, be sure you read all
the documentation/help that comes with the program, especially the
backup/restore features.

How do I boot into Safe Mode? I forgot. I am using XP SP2.

Don't forget your online help (aka Help and Support Center). <w>

Press Win-F1 and enter in the search field (say): safe mode boot
Pick one of the hits in the Full-text Search Matches:
2. Startup options
Click on Safe Mode (in The startup options are:)
Click on To start the computer in safe mode (after For more information see:)

Etc.
