I am trying to delete internet explorer because the stuped
thing keeps giving me a url of "about:blank". No matter
what I do, I can not reset my homepage to go AND STAY
anywhere else. This seems to be a problem for a lot of us.
Why can't we get help?

Have you done a Google search for the about:blank hijacker? If you do you
will get dozens of pages of information about detection, prevention and
removal.

cause internet explorer is so insecure.maybe some secure
default settings would help.like disable both install on
demand... embrace open source and use firefox from
mozilla.org.. and be free from hijacks.
