highlighted text cannot be typed over/backspaced out--i have to de

at home, i can highlight a word and type over it in Word (or delete it). my
computer at the office won't let me. i always have to delete highlighted
text. how can i fix this?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | check the "Typing replaces
selection" box | OK.
