HIGHLIGHTED NUMBERS NOT SHOWING SUM AT BOTTOM WANT IT BACK

I WANT THE SUM TO APPEAR AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE PAGE WHEN TWO OR MORE
CELLS CONTAINING NUMBERS ARE HIGHLIGHTED.
WAS WORKING FINE, NOW WILL NOT WORK IN ANY EXCEL WORKSHEET.
HOW DO I TURN IT BACK ON?
 
First of all, turn off the caps, it is considered shouting and rude..

Right click in the space of the statusbar where you normally get the sum,
you should get a popup window, there you can select from different choices

First...turn off your Caps Lock.

Makes for very difficult reading and is considered "SHOUTING" at us.

Second......right-click on the Status bar and select from the options found
there.

I would submit you have "none" selected currently.
