Hi,
since last week I'm using Windows Vista Business 32 on my notebook (HP
Compaq nx8220) and I'm wondering about the high CPU utilization while
scrolling in a browser (no matter which one) and moving windows around
the desktop.
In such cases the process itself (like iexplore.exe, when talking about
scrolling) utilizes the CPU 100%, not dwm.exe!
The CPU in my Notbeook is a 1,8GHz Pentium Mobile (Sonoma) while the
GPU is a Mobility Radeon X600 from ATI/AMD. I've installed the latest
drivers from ATI/AMD (from January 29th). It's got 1GB RAM.
The problem occurs as well with Aero as with the other schemes (like
Aero Basic).
Does anyone experience similar behaviours regarding CPU load?
