"This program gives beginners a head-start with the ancient Egyptian
hieroglyphics language. It offers user access to some of the most common
symbols. Each symbol can be selected in a number of different ways and,
once selected, a transliteration and translation is given, enabling the
user to grasp the Egyptian language, quickly and efficiently."

"There is no real way to have our western alphabet translated into
hieroglyphs on a letter by letter basis. The Egyptians did not spell
words like we do, they spelt them phonetically.

So take Cartouche Maker as it is intended to be , just as a bit of
harmless fun and not a serious translation program"
