Hiding Sensitive Information

Does anybody know of a way to protect and prevent people
from changing or even viewing sensitive information in
excel? I'm working on some analysis which involves
people's salaries, and so I don't want others to be able
to even view them. I could hide and then protect the
worksheet, but I hoping there is a more difficult method
other than Select All, Copy and Paste to defeat my
security measures. Any ideas?

Click tools.Click general options.
Their is an option for password.
