Hiding names in a distribution list

When I send out an e-mail to a distribution list, the recipient is able to
see the names in the list. How can I hide the names and just show the name
of the distribution list?

Use BCC [blind copy] - its functionality is intended specifically for
your stated purpose.

I don't want the recipient to see the names in the To field which is where
I'm inputting my distribution list name. I sent out an e-mail to my list and
when one person on the list replied to me, in their e-mail it listed their
names and not the name of the list. I want the name of the list to show, not
the names of the people in the list. I know if I do BCC it won't show the
list at all, but I want it to hide the names in the To field.
