Hiding database window

I am trying to hide the database window when opening an Accesapplication. I
have checked the Tools>startup>hide database window box, and unchecked the
use special keys box, created a switchboard, and a application menu bar. When
opening the application, the switchboatd opens alone, but you can still open
the database window by clicking the window button on the Windows XP taskbar.
What else do I need to do to hide the database window altogether.

In the Tools / Options... / View tab, try unchecking the option "Windows in
Taskbar".
