I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO HIDE DATA IN A PARTICULAR CELL. I'M ROUNDING UP A SUM THAT HAS SEVERAL DIGITS, AND I DON'T WANT THE LONGER # TO APPEAR IN A CELL...JUST THE ROUNDED # THAT APPEARS IN THE ADJOINING CELL. NOT TOO CONFUSING RIGHT?

Why not just round the sum? e.g =ROUND(SUM(H6:H7),0)
rounds to a whole number
or
You could just format the cell to show no decimal places.

Try formatting the font to the same color as the cell color (pattern).

Red,

First, turn off your caps lock.

=ROUND(SUM(whatever,0)
to do it all in one cell

If you want to hide the contents totally,

Right click on cell ... format cells......number tab......custo
format.... and type ";;;" (without quotes ) in the Type textbox...
Click Ok.
