Hiding Columns and Object Error

Hi there! This seems like a great place, full of knowledgeable people.

I'm having a little problem with hiding columns in a spreadsheet I'
working on. When I select the columns and try to hide them, I get a
error message stating "cannot shift objects off sheet".

To the best of my knowledge, I don't HAVE any objects on my sheet. Doe
anyone have any idea what this might be? Is there any way to FIN
objects within a sheet?
