Hiding bound OLE fields when there's nothing in them

I have a report that shows calendar events. At the bottom of the description
of the event, I have a row of bound object frames that show a photograph of
each person scheduled to participate in the event.

Not every record has photographs, so I'd like the section to shrink when
they're blank. However, the bound object frame doesn't have a Can Shrink
property.

I tried putting these fields on a sub-report, but I can't seem to get that
to shrink either -- it shows even when there are no records in the table
driving the sub-report.

I was going to try to use the visible property to turn the sub-report on and
off based on whether or not there are photos in it, but can't find an event
that fires at the right time to allow me to do this.

Any suggestions? Or am I stuck with the extra white space whenever using a
bound ole object on a form?

Ok, never mind. I closed and re-opened the database and now the report is
working fine using just the Can Shrink properties. I'm not sure what was
going on.
