Hiding advanced filter

Hi,

I need to know if, when I set up an advanced filter above the table that I
have, I can hide that advanced filter when printing or saving, besides just
selecting specific rows and going for Hide option.

Also, is there a way that I can filter data to some other sheet of workbook
and have those results saved seperately. When I use advanced filter, it asks
me if I want to filter to another location, but I can only do it on a present
worksheet.

By the way, I am working in Excel 2000 and 2003.

Hi

Hiding the rows with advanced filter criteria is not a problem. Rather
than hiding the rows, I usually just scroll the screen down a little,
and set Windows>Freeze Pane so that the user doesn't scroll up to see
the criteria.
With regard to not printing, just mark the area that you want to print
(excluding the criteria rows) and use File>Print Area>Set Print Area to
define the print range.

As for extracting data to another sheet with Advanced Filter, you can do
this, but you must start the Advanced Filter dialogue from the
Destination sheet, not whilst you are on the source sheet.
