Hiding a download page URL

I have a site that has a subfolder that includes a paid download info product
in PDF format. The user will be taken there after payment processing by
Clickbank. Is there any way to hide the actual "address" of the download
page from showing up? It is not password protected or anything.

Also, this may be a dumb question, but what would prevent search engine
spiders from seeing that same download page and making it available to the
public, bypassing the payment routine?

Not really
- you can mask the download page it by putting it is a frameset
(but view source will reveal the frames pages)
- once they start the download or open the PDF they will always see the URL
