Hide when minimized

In Microsoft Outlook, we have a option called "Hide When Minimized".

Whether anyone know this option is available in other application like
Windows Media Player, Excel, word, and other microsoft products.

look on the applications options menu for it - the ones you listed do not
hide when minimized.

Windows Media Player takes a different approach. It can minimize with a
mini-control panel.
