Hi

I'm trying to do a document that has hyperlinks, but, because the hyperlinks
use password (ftp://user:p[email protected]) I would like to hide it. Is
there any way to do it, or, in other hand, insert the username and password
in another way, in order to hide them to the person that'll use the document?

Thanks for all your help.

You can make the link to display differently from the actionable,
effective hyperlink. Select the word you want to use as hyperlink,
Ctrl-K, and select "text to display" and "address" respectively. But
anyone who has access to the Word do will be able to drill down and
find yr underwater link. Converting to pdf likely doesnt work, because
the link will eventually appear in the URL address line. However,
whether the pw is readable may depend on yr application/situation. HTH

You can provide different display text, but the underlying URL (which can be
seen via Alt+F9) will still show the password.
