Hide row macro

Need a (re-usable) macro that will be used on 12 or more
spread-sheets, to hide rows that have NOT been selected.
The spread-sheets are of varying length.

Selection of a row is indicated by an * (always) in column B.
If NO *, row is to be hidden.
 
I look forward to trying this addin myself.

For this particular application I'm really looking for a macro
that can be activated by one button, to hide the applicable rows.
I'm still too much of a beginner to be able to change any of the
samples given in the forum to suit my particular needs.
